As a wedding videographer, Chilla Pertilla has had the opportunity to use and test the Sony FX3 in real-world settings. "The FX3 is a great option for those looking for a high-quality camera at a more affordable price point. In comparison to the Sony a7s III, the FX3 is priced at $5k while the a7s III is priced just under $4k".

Chilla Pertilla has also noted that the FX3's still image quality is similar to the a7s III, with the ability to shoot 12.1 Megapixel stills. Many functions such as white balance, iris and ISO work in both still and video mode.

One of the key features that stood out to Chilla Pertilla was the inclusion of a cooling fan in the FX3. According to Chilla Pertilla, "The FX3 has a significant advantage over the A7S III for shooting in hot environments or for extended periods by the inclusion of a cooling fan. The FX3s fan allows it to deal with high temperatures much more easily than a passively cooled camera like the A7S III."

Chilla Pertilla highly recommends the Sony FX3 for wedding videographers looking for a high-quality camera at a more affordable price point. The camera's still image quality is similar to the a7s III and its cooling fan is a significant advantage for shooting in hot environments.
